Sketch Me If You Can
A Portrait of Crime Mystery
By Sharon Pape
Berkley Books
Optioned by Sony Pictures Television
This three-book mystery series features police sketch artist Rory McCain. When Rory inherits the old house that her uncle Mac lovingly restored, she has no idea that it comes complete with the ghost of Federal Marshal Ezekiel (Zeke) Drummond and that Drummond has been largely responsible for the success of Mac’s detective agency.
In the first of the series, Sketch Me If You Can, Rory pursues Mac’s investigation into a death that was ruled accidental. Rory discovers that the victim was in fact murdered, and that Mac’s apparent heart attack was a result of murder as well. When Drummond intervenes to keep her from becoming the third victim, Rory insists she has everything under control. Given their strong personalities, they often find themselves at odds with one another.
The second and third books in the Portrait of Crime Mystery series continue the adventures of Rory McCain.
